i have an unbelievable need to write after i read her posts.

the embroidery is a photocopy of part of a letter to skye.
i had forgotten how much i enjoy needle and thread!
it is peculiar sewing into paper (cartridge paper is no good! i used a page from my journal) as i have to be much more careful than i am when using cloth... but i think as a finished product, paper looks much better.
i'm going to use these patterns and colours in my rat drawings; surrounding them with embroidered regurgitated matter (rather than inked).
here is a picture of a bison. you can draw a unicorn horn on it.
